It is the desire of Lyssa Gettys to provide the best treatment possible to every client. Lyssa works diligently with each client to create a progressive and tailored treatment. Below you will find a description of the modalities she provides, in order to give a clear picture of her style and specialties. Prices are set for the time you are booking, not the style of massage. Because the body responds individually, she combines all of her modalities based off how the body responds best, in order to get the most soft tissue and fascial release.
Gettys Sports & Orthopedic accepts cash all major credit cards with treatment purchase, along with a $2.00 card terminal fee. Checks are accepted with long standing clients only.

A relaxing technique primarily used to relieve general surface muscle tension, oxygenates
the muscle groups, and improves circulation. It relieves minor aches and pains.
An alternative medicine therapy. The session involves performing specific gentle holds allowing
to tune into the cranial-sacral system. By gently working with the spine,
skull, cranial sutures, and diaphragm, nerve passages are eased, cerebrospinal
fluid through the spinal cord is optimized, and misaligned bones are naturally
restored to proper position. It is effective for a wide range of medical
problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
This style works to stretch and lengthen tight muscles, releasing muscle tension, and
increasing blood flow. Ideal for aiding in healing and recovery of injured muscle tissue.
Additionally, it can aid in the prevention of injuries by increasing range of motion.
Prenatal massage can be preformed after the first trimester with doctor approval. It combines
gentle massage focusing on superficial muscle to release general tension and promote overall

This style is a manual therapy intended to assist an athlete in several ways.
If this modality is done prior to an event, it is designed to prevent
injury and promote optimal performance during activity. If this modality is
used after the event, it helps the athlete to expedite recovery and
relieve general soreness.
Myofascial Release & Mobilization
A massage manipulation treatment to release tension in the fascial layers due to trauma, posture, or inflammation.
Connective tissues known as fascia surrounds muscles, bones, nerves, and organs of the body. With the use of specific
techniques one can ease tension from fascial binding. Thus, creating muscle relief and mobility.
This is a highly detailed massage, built upon science-based foundations. NMT focuses on the complete
muscle belly, including its proximal and distal tendinous attachments. helping to release muscle from
ischemia (tight tissue with reduce blood flow), myofascial trigger points, also known as knots, nerve
entrapment (pressure on nerves by soft tissue), while looking at both postural assessments and additional
perpetuating factors (hydration, stress, nutrition, and breathing). Designed for clients interested in relieving
severe and chronic aches and pains, and create more mobility.
Partner's Practical Massage Class
The class runs 3 hours long. The first hour consist of a brief
anatomy and technique overview to create an understanding of how to help your
partner's body heal. The following two hours focuses on each partner practicing
hands-on techniques and experiencing the technique themselves, so you can
continue to practice with your partner in your own home. Class includes handouts, diagrams, and massage
tools to help assist you outside of class.
Corporate Event Booking
Thinking of treating your staff and executives to something special, or looking for a
way to boost morale in the work place? I offer on-site massage to help give your employees a special
treat at the office. Choose between 30 or 60 minutes massage sessions to revitalize your personnel.
(Price is negotiated based on number of staff)
If you have difficulty traveling or would prefer to receive a massage in the privacy of
your own home, I offer a mobile massage service at a small additional cost to cover
$40 additional travel fee (depending on location).
